Clearing Out the Previous Owner’s “Stuff”: Storage Reset Made Simple

Before Mr. Clear
After Mr. Clear

Did you buy a place that came with the previous owner’s collection of “stuff”—and don’t have the time (or energy) to go through it?

These homeowners did.

And yes… there were some pretty interesting things in there.

I went through everything—slowly, carefully, and with intention—and pulled aside the items they actually wanted to keep. There were a few meaningful finds worth saving.

What they didn’t want?

Collections of 1970s power tools, fasteners, solvents, fixtures, and old electrical and plumbing supplies that had been sitting for decades.

Once the cabinets were cleared, they asked a simple question:

“Can those go too? We want to store our boat here.”

Absolutely.

I have a hunch a lot of people would love to sort through inherited or left-behind belongings to see what treasures they may have acquired—but life is busy, and that task often gets pushed aside.

That’s where I come in.

I bring items of value to the homeowner’s attention, ask what they want to keep, and take care of the rest. Along the way, I even found a giant pocket knife they hadn’t seen and brought it back to them—great conversation starter. 😄

In the busyness of life, I love lifting burdens for others.

It’s not just about clearing space—it’s about helping people move forward without the weight of someone else’s unfinished chapter.

That’s my passion.
